On Friday 8 November 2013 Katie Dillon and Henry Venables, both Associates at family law firm James Maguire & Co, took part in a firewalk in aid of East Cheshire Hospice.
The challenge, which was staged at Macclesfield Academy, saw Katie and Henry walk through fire with bare feet across 15 feet of red hot embers with temperatures in the fire exceeding 800 degrees Fahrenheit.
Katie and Henry successfully completed the firewalk (or firerun in Henry’s case!) and raised almost £800 for the hospice.
