Back 17 April 2014April Showers April Showers Caught in yet another bout of rain earlier this week I was reminded of the phrase “into every life a little rain must fall”. It made me think about how we all deal with that “rain” very differently. Whether facing a relationship breakup or some other challenging event there are a number of ways we can choose to react. There are those who will run and hide from the shower, those that will solider on until it becomes physically impossible, those who will look to others to resolve the situation and those who will take a more practical and pragmatic approach in locating an umbrella and moving forward more prepared. To a certain extent there can be no right answer but perhaps it is worth considering what our own gut reaction is and whether that is the best way to deal with the situation. Using the example of a relationship breakdown, many people simply want to ignore the issue but often the act of finding out what the legal and/ or practical implications are can ultimately lead to them finding a better way to deal with the situation and regain some control. Just remember: knowledge is the key to power and an umbrella is the key to dry hair!
