Sophie Hughes

Sophie completed her Master of Laws at BPP University, Manchester, achieving a distinction. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 after completing her training contract at a full-service North West firm with an international reach.
Prior to joining Maguire Family Law in January 2026, Sophie worked at a specialist family law firm in Manchester City Centre, specialising in high-net worth matters.

Sophie has a particular interest in divorce finance and financial claims for children.

Based at the firm’s Wilmslow office, Sophie prides herself on empowering clients to feel informed and confident at every stage, combining realistic advice with practical solutions.
