Hannah Barlow

Hannah graduated with a BA (Hons) in Law in 2016 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course in 2018, achieving a distinction. She qualified as a solicitor in January 2022 and, prior to joining Maguire Family Law in February 2026, gained valuable experience at a Legal 500 Tier 1 family law firm in Manchester.

Hannah advises across the full spectrum of private family law, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, domestic abuse and private children matters, in which she has a particular interest. She has significant experience in complex private children cases, including matters involving the appointment of a children’s guardian, allegations of domestic abuse and fact-finding hearings, international relocation, alienating behaviours, and child abduction proceedings under both the Hague and non-Hague Conventions. Three of Hannah’s child abduction cases have been published.

She is an accredited specialist in both Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse.

Hannah is deeply committed to her work and is known for her sensitive yet pragmatic approach. She takes pride in guiding clients through what are often emotionally challenging circumstances, providing clear, practical advice and robust representation throughout.
